You are invited to attend the Re-Dedication Service of two Crosses of Honor.

It will take place at the Flat Rock Cemetery near Jonesville, S.C.

Two crosses were stolen and received extensive coverage in the local News Papers and C-7 TV. Since the theft occurred in Union Co., the States Rights Gist camp has already replaced the Crosses and have repaired & re-installed 3 more @ the site (Flat Rock), near Jonesville , S.C.

The date set is Sunday Jan. 12, 2014 @3 P.M. for the Re-Dedication to honor these 2 veterans. This is a golden chance to get POSITIVE Coverage for the Sons of Confederate Veterans and our Heritage.

We plan to see a large turnout of Sons of Confederate Veterans members and others to show that the Confederacy is still alive and honoring our Heritage. Please bring your sons, daughters and any youth. The media need to see that we are made up of organizations of all ages.

The Honor Guard will mostly be made of the new 3rd Brigade Honor Guard volunteers with some assistance from other camps and the 16th Honor Guard from Greenville.

Since TV Coverage is 90% assured, our wish is to have a great showing of Respect for our Heritage.

We would like for all local camps to take an active part, As reading the Charge, Opening & Closing Prayers, Pledges and Salutes to the flags, playing of “TAPS”, possibly a Drummer for the Honor Guard.

The fastest way from Jonesville, S.C. is to drive S. on SC-18 where you take the (left) split onto SC-9.

Stay on SC-9 for about 5 miles, passed KELLY store, watch for PEA RIDGE RD. on the (left), turn left off of #9, then  past Kelly/Kelton fire station.

As you see Foster Chapel UMC , turn( left) onto Eisontown Rd (44-55), for about 4 miles

FLATROCK CEMETERY is on RIGHT @ Peter Hawk Rd intersection.
